Installation Services

Conveyor Installations

Once a conveyor or conveyor system is ready for installation, Cobalt will assign a team that will incorporate highly qualified, trained and experienced engineers (both mechanical and electrical where appropriate).

Cobalt’s teams wear the latest, fully branded personal protection equipment and are tasked to provide a service onsite that is courteous and flexible yet speedy to avoid long production delays or downtime.

Cobalt will prepare prior to any installation detailed method statements on all aspects of the installation – both mechanical and electrical. Risk assessment statements will also provided in advance of our team arriving on site.

With Health & Safety a paramount issue for all of our clients, Cobalt sought to give extra peace of mind by becoming a member of the SAFEcontractor scheme. SAFEcontractor is the fastest growing health and safety accreditation scheme in the UK, with more than 150 major clients and almost 18,000 contractor members.

The SAFEcontractor scheme is designed to review and audit the health and safety policies, procedures and documentation of contractors. Qualified auditors take into consideration the contractor’s profession, industry sector and business size, providing tailored safety audits that identify whether there is suitable and sufficient health and safety compliance. The scheme saves contractors valuable time by reducing the need to submit multiple health and safety pre-qualification questionnaires to their clients.

Once the auditing process has been successfully completed, accredited contractors can use the SAFEcontractor certificate as a means of demonstrating their level of health and safety compliance to clients and potential clients.

Commissioning is the time when we make sure that our conveyors will deliver what is expected of them time and again. Cobalt teams will not leave site until the equipment has met the client’s full approval and has been physically signed off.

Ongoing Maintenance

Our conveyors are covered by a 12 month warranty as standard and Cobalt will endeavour to respond to any breakdowns within a 24 hour period. Should our clients wish, they can also take out an ongoing maintenance contract with Cobalt to ensure a longer lifespan for their equipment and little production downtime.
